The guitar is absolutely beautiful and of the highest quality construction. I ordered a right-handed six string Altus w/ Alumitone Lace Sensors and a Dimarzio Crunchlab pickup at the bridge, custom vine inlays in the neck, clear finish, neck-thru construction & black hardware. This can sometimes result in lengthy delays and we apologize, but we are working hard every day to do better. We strive to offer very high customization and to deliver the highest build quality we can. Everything else is done at our factory in China (as mentioned on our FAQ page ). *** Hi Chubba - we only perform final fret work, component assembly, and setups in our California shop. Keep in mind I never badgered them as to when it would be complete, so when they said they are ready to ship it, and don't because it has issues to be resolved,Īnd the months go by, it starts to concern me, hence the review. Honestly, I would have thought that they would have been able fabricate it at their facility. It turns out my custom pickguard comes from overseas as well? and has been delayed due to lockdowns. Three months ago made final payment, being told everything was finished, only to find out it wasn't. It appealed to me to have a custom bass made, thinking customization was taking place in California, but it doesn't seem to be the case. So when I ordered this 5 string short scale bass 2 and half years ago, as nobody was making this type of instrument, which they now do. I am very satisfied with everything and I am sincerely grateful to you. Other shortcomings were also successfully eliminated. Now my ideal Halo Custom Shop Seraphim will have a solid protection. Jeff sent me a new guitar case to replace the damaged case. Thank you for also reaching out to us directly to give us the opportunity to continue communicating with you via email until all issues are amicably resolved. Hello Oleh - we apologize for the issues with your order as well as the slow communication you received. On my penultimate mail, I received a response from Halo only a month later, Halo did not manufacture this option, but instead made forced agreed replacement. I also extra ordered and paid stainless steel frets. However, the guitar lead time from the originally promised one year increased to two years, after each payment (50% deposit and remaining balance 10 months later) communication from Halo only got worse, the guitar came to me in a custom fitted Halo hardshell case with completely damaged interior due to polyfoam that was not fully glued and broken in four places (for all that the outer packaging and the exterior of the case were in perfect condition and do not even have cosmetic damages), also the guitar body contour (profile of the body surface), string gauges adjustment and t-short size did not match what was ordered. The second part of the piece was rearranged into Africa Suite in Halo 2: Anniversary Original Soundtrack.Halo Custom Guitars has created a Real Miracle – a unique fully one-piece guitar (its body, neck, fingerboard and headstock carved from single solid maple blank).
